Over Easy Solar has completed its first solar installation in Lithuania, bringing vertical solar technology to a flat rooftop in a region where heavy snowfall makes winter energy production a key consideration.
The 4.61 kWp installation features 18 VPV Unit xM3 QUATTRO-256S units mounted on STD125 feet. The customer’s main objective was to maximise solar energy production during the winter season, even when challenging weather conditions make it more difficult to generate electricity.
With its vertical configuration, Over Easy Solar’s system offers an alternative to conventional rooftop solar, helping minimise snow accumulation on the panels. The STD125 feet provide additional clearance beneath the units, allowing snow to accumulate underneath without covering the panels and obstructing production.
This project marks an important milestone for Over Easy Solar, expanding our presence into Lithuania and demonstrating how vertical solar technology can help make flat rooftops productive in climates with demanding winter conditions.
